The Wall Street Journal ran a piece titled “AI Agents Face One Last, Big Obstacle” - and that obstacle is the exact problem Arcade exists to solve. Agents are great at reasoning and terrible at acting: the moment an agent needs to do something real on your behalf - send the email, touch the CRM, open the PR - it runs into authorization. Who is the agent acting as? With what scope? For how long?

This is the thesis behind Arcade’s SSO for AI Agents and, ultimately, the secure action layer we’ve built since.
